12 Things You Might Not Know We Carry + 3 Bonus Eco Finds
With hundreds of products tucked into the shop, even longtime Simply Natural Canada customers sometimes discover something and say, “I didn't know you carried that!”
That happened recently when I shared some of the lesser-known products in the shop with our newsletter subscribers. The response told me that perhaps it was time to share these finds with everyone.
Some replace something disposable. Some solve a very specific everyday problem. And others are simply useful little products you might never think to search for.
Here are 12 things you might not know we carry at Simply Natural Canada, plus three bonus finds worth knowing about.
1. Stainless Steel and Copper Tongue Scrapers

Tongue scraping is a simple addition to your daily oral care routine that can help remove buildup from the surface of the tongue. Our reusable stainless steel tongue scraper is easy to clean and designed to be used again and again.
And now there's another option: we've recently added copper tongue scrapers to the shop too.
Whether you prefer stainless steel or traditional copper, both are reusable additions to your oral-care routine.
2. Organic Cotton Nut Milk Bag
Making your own almond, oat or other plant-based milk? A reusable organic cotton nut milk bag makes straining it simple.
But don't let the name fool you. Nut milk bags can also be handy for straining juices, cold brew and other homemade creations. Wash it, reuse it and keep it ready for the next batch.
3. Volcanic Lava Pumice Stones
Sometimes simple really is better.
A natural volcanic lava pumice stone provides a plastic-free way to gently smooth areas of rough, dry skin, particularly feet and heels. No batteries, complicated tools or disposable refills required.
4. Solid Dish Soap in a Reusable Ramekin

Solid dish soap is an easy way to eliminate another plastic bottle from the kitchen, but this version comes with an extra little bonus: its own reusable ramekin.
Use the ramekin to hold your solid dish soap beside the sink, then give it another purpose when the soap is finished.
5. Bleaching Agent Powder
You don't necessarily need a big plastic jug of conventional liquid bleach to brighten whites and tackle laundry stains.
Myni Bleaching Agent Powder is an unscented, concentrated powder that's easy to keep on hand for laundry day. A particularly useful little product that many customers don't realize we carry.
6. Reusable Silicone Bowl Covers

Plastic wrap is one of those disposable products we can reach for almost automatically.
Reusable silicone bowl covers provide another option. Stretch them over bowls and containers, or use appropriate sizes on certain cut fruits and vegetables, then wash and reuse them.
7. Essential Oil Car Diffusers
If you like a little scent in your car but would rather skip conventional disposable air fresheners, we carry reusable wooden essential oil car diffusers.
Add your favourite essential oil and refresh it as needed. Simple, reusable and rather pretty too.
8. Binchotan Charcoal Water Bottle Filters

This may be one of the more unusual things tucked away in the shop.
A Binchotan charcoal water filter stick is designed to sit in water in a reusable container. Unlike a flow-through filter, it needs time: the product instructions recommend leaving it in water for 6 to 8 hours.
The care guidance recommends refreshing the stick every 2 to 3 months by boiling it for 10 minutes and letting it dry, with replacement after up to 6 months. See the product page for the full instructions.
It's one of those products you probably wouldn't know to look for until you discovered it existed.
9. Reusable Bamboo Cloths
A good reusable cloth can replace a surprising amount of disposable paper towel.
Our bamboo kitchen cloths are soft, absorbent and versatile enough for everyday wiping and cleaning around the home. Wash them, use them again and keep disposable waste out of another everyday routine.
10. Natural Cleaning Paste

Sometimes everyday spray cleaner isn't quite enough.
Plantish Powerpaste Cleaning Soap is a concentrated option for kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Work a small amount into a lather with a damp sponge or cloth, clean the surface, then rinse and wipe dry. Follow the product directions and check suitability for your surface before use.
11. Coconut Scourer Scrub Pads
Made from coconut husk fibres and natural rubber, these coconut scourer scrub pads provide an alternative to conventional synthetic scouring pads.
They're useful for tackling stuck-on food and everyday kitchen messes. Check your local composting guidance for disposal at the end of their useful life.
12. Wood Lint Remover
Here's another one that tends to get a “You carry those?”
Instead of repeatedly buying sticky lint-roller refills, a reusable wood lint remover can help lift lint, fuzz and pet hair from suitable fabrics over and over again.
Use gentle strokes, remove lint from the brass comb after use and keep the wooden handle dry. Check the product guidance and your fabric's care instructions before use.
And because twelve apparently wasn't enough...
